The sites by the water have a very nice view, we loved our time camping there. The only things were the no see um were bad at times and the bathroom could be cleaner.
Nice lil island. Super easy access to the water. Sites are definitely rugged. Washer and dryers are $2.50 outdoors. Bathroom and showers are a little calcified and older but clean.
First time camping at Long Point Campground, and we have had a nice experience. It is one of the largest county park campgrounds that we have seen. Beautiful, clean park and excellent staff. Perimeter sites have access to the water via kayak or small boat. Limited number of full hook up sites on the interior of the park. The staff…especially Eddie, Gary and Sam…provided excellent assistance.
