Other than the sunset... not too easy on the eyes. Don't try if it has or will rain. A real mess.
Great place for a picnic, shady, cool, waterfowl, outdoors, lake......
Very nice place for wildlife photography or to spend a quiet and relaxing day.
Mostly visited for fishing and hunting purposes.. RV Campground is posted as available but didn't see any RV's here, just a truck, a couple of hunters, and a huge lake. Saw two American White Pelicans, several Double-crested Cormorants, and some ducks. Didn't tour around as the dirt road towards the East of the lake didn't look so appealing to go further. There were some wet spots on the road. Upon entering to the place, you can see much of the area and enjoy the great view of the lake. Vault style restrooms at the entrance. Definitely a good birding hotspot.
No fees to enter. Visited on February 13, 2021
Quiet, tranquil area. Nice place to fish. Almost caught a huge catfish but he snapped the line
