The facilities appear sketchy and trashy but the experience is amazing. This is the first time I've been to a place where you can interact with animals like this. Zoos have to worry about lawsuits and have lots of visitors every day. This place has animals that you can get into the cages with and feed them, pet them and learn about them. The staff is knowledgeable about the animals, which were all well cared for and tame. My 3 year old nephew was in no danger even when he got over excited. It's also very inexpensive and all indoors so you can go there when the weather is bad. They are not advertised well online so it is difficult to discover them without knowing someone who has been there. I absolutely reccommend going here!!
This place is amazing! My 4 year old had a blast. This place is super clean and all the animals are well taken care of and happy. Super educational. Experience of a lifetime for sure.
This was a searched place while staying in Hot Springs on vacation. Fantastic place to take the entire family, especially if you are into the less common animals. Being able to interact with kangaroos, wolves, porcupines, lemurs, and a sloth really made the adventure better than I thought.
When you are driving there don’t miss it since the drive is just a small dirt path..
Not even fully stocked with their full amount of animals, still had a fantastic adventure!
Was a fun experience! Secluded in Marshall, you arrive at there bottom parking lot where you then hike a quarter mile to the animal exhibits. Staff are very friendly and informative! If you take your time expect to be here for about an hour. Would go back again! I think if the wolves had a little more room to roam around they would love yal that much more.
I want to say that this place was amazing. What ever the negative reviews say don't listen to them. Google maps lead you directly to the place. You have to walk up a few steep hills to get to it, but it's not bad at all. We got greeted by the keeper who was nice as can be. She took her time with us and showed us every animal that was there. She let us pet them and feed them and also educated us about each animal She showed us. As an added on bonus, it's free unless you choose to donate to Farmony which isn't a bad deal at all considering the experience you get here. If you're in the Asheville/Marshall area be sure to check this out if you want to see Kangaroo, Lemurs and Sloths. They are tons of fun.
