They have more than RVs here, nice cabins, reasonable rates, pet friendly, and the most kind and helpful staff in the county.
DASP is lovely and well planned. Main sign from hiway does NOT say Desert & Sierra - sign says Presidio Lodge so you might miss it on first pass. Pretty view of night lights from Ojinaga, Mexico and Presidio.
Stayed here for a few months while working. This is easily the best rv park in the area. Has a great view of Ojinaga at night. The rates are the best available. There are also two cabins which are much cleaner and more cost effective than any of the hotels in town. The owners Craig and Denise keep the property in tip top shape. Would highly recommend if your traveling thru the area.
The management here are great people. Mr.Charlie made our stay a great experience. No where else to stay as far as I'm concerned. The views of the city in mexico at night is amazing. Along with sunsets and sunrises to boot. Rates are very reasonable.
We were the only non-RV'ers.
The facility has one restroom. It has plenty of room for changing clothes and a shower with HOT water and good pressure. You will have to ask for a key because it remains locked when not in use.
The sunset directly across from us over the Mexican Mountains- stunning view. After dark we could see the city of OJ, Mexico all lit up like a carnival.
The views alone are worth more than the $5 dollars it cost us to stay.
Camp host is very swell guy; friendly and fun to talk to!
