NATURAL MINERAL HOT SPRING POOLS SET IN A DESERT OASIS IN THE MOUNTAINS!

All hours are suits optional, except on Fridays from 10:00am - 7:00pm.

Desert Reef Hot Springs was originally created in 1986 as a labor of love and an effort to build a community, a secret and protected refuge from the world. This intent rings true in the recent expansion and renovation of the hot springs completed in 2022. We welcome you to join us for a soak or an overnight stay in our beautifully remodeled Airstreams. We provide a safe, welcoming refuge for curious and creative folks who are looking to relax, recharge, and find some inspiration and joy.

Enjoy an elevated hot spring experience by spending the night in one of our beautiful Tiny Homes with a private hot spring or our vintage Airstreams. Each accommodation is thoughtfully decorated and includes everything you need for an unforgettable experience.

Really nice relaxing get away. Place is very cute & the tubs are hot. No children allowed which is great for a relaxing in a quiet environment. Staff was friendly, felt like other guests were also respectful. Felt like the no handholding / hugging rule is a little over the top since it’s a clothing optional facility.

I have come here to soak twice and really love the vibes. The staff is friendly, conscious and helpful. The facilities are great, newly updated and beautiful. It's quaint, but expansive, great views of the sunset and surrounding areas. The pool temperatures are very therapeutic and have a nice variety of size and privacy ranging from the larger pool with a beautiful rock wall feature to a smaller one with a little waterfall that feeds into it. Great company and typically very respectful attendees. And they have some really cute handcrafts in their gift shop as well as a fridge, snacks and water to refill your reusable water bottles! It's the nicest and closest hot spring to Pueblo, so we've been enjoying it very much.

Yes yes yes. This place is excellent. A great recharge spot. Also, this was a very safe and inclusive space for all types of people.

I visited on a sold out holiday day, and even at full capacity it wasn't crowded feeling.

There are a few refreshments available like coconut water (and plenty of free cold water).

Some of the patrons were a bit over chatty at "I can definitely hear you" volume about their life drama, and the staff was more than happy to help intervene.

LGBTQIA+ friendly. Call ahead if you have any questions. They are very helpful on the phone.

We booked a tiny home with private pool for a cold winter weekend getaway. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The main pools area is very unique with several to choose from. They are building more and updating so a bit of construction. We really enjoyed our private pool the most. The view of the desert valley from the tiny homes is amazing. The homes themselves are bare bones and could use some more amenities and comfort items like art on the walls, cozy blankets, robes, a small table to eat at, but the bed was comfortable and you are there for the hot springs. We love this place for it’s rules of no children and absolute quiet so we keep coming back for total serenity.

First time ever at a clothing optional hot spring and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Desert Reef is great and we’re glad we are close enough to enjoy on a regular basis. Both our visits were outstanding. But I will mention that if you choose to go sans swimsuit you may find yourself in the minority. Nothing wrong with that but on our second visit, it had my wife wondering why so many, mostly youthful (and we are by no means aged or physically decrepit) chose not to take advantage of this really unique aspect of a fabulous facility. Oh well. To each their own. Looking forward to our next visit to see what’s what.
