Welcome to Mesa Campground, the finest Campground in the Gunnison Valley
If you are ready for a warm, fun season of outdoor activities, water sports and fishing, exploration and hiking, music, dance, community and campfire comradery, you’ve come to the right place. Mesa RV park is re-building community in 2021! If you’ve been here come on back, if you haven’t yet, stop on by! We are happy to be open to all ages, family, musicians, professionals , retirees and you whoever you are.
We are conveniently located 3 miles west of Gunnison on US Highway 50 and only minutes away from Blue Mesa Reservoir and Curecanti National Recreation Area. Best of all, the Gunnison River is literally within walking distance from the campground. Mesa Campground is a friendly campground ideally situated between Gunnison and Blue Mesa Lake with everything to make your vacation perfect! We offer clean, grassy, neatly landscaped and beautifully shaded sites with full hookup. We have both open and shaded sites depending upon your preference. We offer 30 and 50 amp service, and Luxury sites as well as a number of pull through sites. We are pet friendly, our restrooms and showers are clean and we have a wonderful laundromat. We have two Cabins, two Tipis, free Wifi, communal fire pits and a small playground area. Our club house is well utilized by all our guests for playing cards, dominoes, craft and general activities and we have a Rec-Hall for larger functions such as our popular Potlucks and socials.
The campground is open from April 15th to October 15th and closed during the winter months.
From jct US 50 & SR 135: Go 6 mi W on US 50.
The rv spot were extremely small and close together asked for a pull through. Upon arrival we got a back in site. Wifi was iffy at best. Many people parked on the road made it difficult to get in and out of our site.
We stayed for 3 nights in one of their RV spots. The spot was very clean and easy to get into, even with the site being a back in site, it was one of the easiest to get in and out of. Great people and will definately visit them again.
Stayed here just one night at a full hookup spot. The staff could not have been nicer and helped to accommodate a late arrival. Location is very convenient to Gunnison, Crested Butte, etc. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
I did not stay the night here but I talked to the front desk lady and she was so nice! She helped me out and gave me a book on things to do in Gunnison! She told me to come back for some live music and was an amazing host so much help and felt like family.
Excellent service from the management. Well kept campground and they made sure we were happy with everything. Big trees and creek surround the campground. Very close to town, which we appreciated. Highly recommend!
