It was a dirt road going up there but manageable we drove a nissan car and we did fine! The area was closed to go see the reservoir because of snow but we managed to take a few good picture with snow falling!

I love camping here. Great campsites and plenty of dispersed camping. This year smokey from the Bear Creek fire. Still one of my favorites.

Photographed an intimate sunrise wedding here - holy freakin' magical! Such a gorgeous spot, and relatively easy to get to in early November in an SUV with 4-wheel drive.

Beautiful drive to the lake. Lots of geese making themselves at home on the lake. Great lake for fishing. A nice 5 mile hike around the lake, the hike was very easy. There were a couple of areas the soil was loose and you needed to be careful with your footing. Also, the trail tended to split into a couple different directions but always meet back up into one trail in the end. A little stream with quite a few trout was a cool find too!

The reservoir views are breathtaking! Off the main road and into the national forest. It's a nice secluded area for a long walk around the lake. However at one point you have to cross a stream.
