From Amado: Go 6 mi N on I-19 (exit 48) Arrivaca Rd, then 2 mi S on E Frontage Rd. From Mexican border (Nogales AZ), take exit 42 at Amado, then go 2 mi N on E Frontage Rd.
Basic park with small spots. Not very welcoming to families, esp with children, or residents of non-retirement age. We were invited to consider the run down park next door numerous times because "they are cheaper" as the receptionist made clear
to us about 5 times and as we were making our reservation, then finally once before we paid. She wanted to "make sure we were serious and didn't want to go next door before we finalized the transaction." The wifi is almost nonexistent, the dog park is a fenced in sand box. The office/ club house smells terrible and the sites are all gravel and barely enough room to park 2 vehicles . We were placed at the entrance of the oark near the highway "since my husband works and we dont need to be making noise for the working residents" .Honestly had we not paid in advance for 6 weeks I would have moved my camper to the run down park next door 🤣 and saved money .
First time staying here. And just down the frontage road from Green Valley where I live and work.
Nice get away, clean, quiet and friendly!
Will be back!
Pretty overpriced for what you actually get staying here. Don’t bother with trying to use the wifi, it’s nonexistent. Staff can be pretty unfriendly if you complain about literally anything. Amenities leave much to be desired, for example you are expected to swim in the dark if you want to use the pool at night as staff will not turn any lights on. Wouldn’t stay here again and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
near norgales border. super safe full service resort. pool , spa, ssuna, billiards, sewing room, poker tables, bar, seasonal restaurant, laundry room.
Our favorite place to stay when we come south to Arizona. Lots of things to do, courteous help, pool, sauna and hot tub and my favorite thing. Free margaritas on Saturday.
