Getting better slowly, but the city of Douglas needs too help make improvements the golf course is a money maker and more people are starting too play golf so maybe the City of Douglas could get involved and help the Douglas Golf Course!

The course itself is somewhat maintained, but needs to significantly improve the maintenance of its cart fleet. Problems range from flat tires to low fuel levels to trash in the compartments to having to wait for it to move after stepping on the accelerator for roughly 10 seconds and then moving slightly faster than I can walk. Also, some of the greens are in rough shape, though improvement is being noted. Overall, though, it's a good experience for the price.

Too old nothing has changed since the early 90s or late 80s. City of Douglas can make this place better even though it's private owned. This will help this town NOT become a ghost town soon.

The stars given are for the park itself. We are really unhappy with the Fairgrounds directly behind us.

The park itself is pretty simple and is a pretty old RV park. If you are a golfer, you probably won’t care. We aren’t and we’re here for tooth work in Mexico. Normally, a really quiet park and that’s nice.

Laundry room machines work good although laundry room is pretty old and dusty but I swept it and cleaned it up a bit and it was doable.

Best to park back by the fence if you can, for more shade in the hot afternoon. Thursday evenings they have the restaurant (bar) open for food and it’s good. Nice staff, normally quiet place…EXCEPT when the horse races started up again in April 2022. At first we thought it was pretty cool having a front row seat to the back track to be able to watch the horses come by and…it was…UNTIL when the races were over, we heard this base from Hispanic music that was so loud it was vibrating through our Motorhome! We thought it was our neighbors right next to us but as soon as we walked out our door, we realized it was coming from the fairgrounds! It has been blasting towards us now for the last 3 hours and it’s awful and nerve racking!

Be forewarned, they will not turn it down even when you call. There is also no phone number to call to report a noise disturbance after hours for the local police department and we didn’t want to call 911. Sad that it would ruin our stay just REALLY hope they don’t do this again tomorrow night after the races. 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😳🙁🙁🙁
