How could you not appreciate a free museum that volunteers restored for others? It's a preserved piece of history from the 1800's where miners stayed while looking for gold. They even have a public bathroom, water and electricity for charging. Camping is allowed outside the fenced area or you can reserve a cabin. Someone gave a 1 star for a dirt road condition? Really? Cool place to check out. Nice spot to stop and look around and catch your breath while hiking on the AZ trail.

Interesting reminder of previous land use in the area. The wrap around porch is a great place to take a break while out hiking!

Glad I visited! Cool historical buildings.Complete solitude and only 5 miles off SR83.You don't need a 4WD to access the property.

This is a place that the whole family will enjoy. I recommend this place for a day trip, or even overnight stay. Kentucky camp is it good place to go to get away from everything
