TerraSol is a fun, friendly camping spot for hikers, cyclists, and van/small RV travelers. With amenities specially geared to van travelers, bikepackers & gravel cyclists, and Arizona Trail hikers, TerraSol is your rest stop or base camp where you can recharge for your adventure — just 1/2 mile from town.
Camp under majestic mesquite trees, with Sky Islands mountain peaks all around. Prepare meals in the camp kitchen, then choose your spot to relax: morning sunroom, shaded deck, fire circle, or heated gazebo. Or lounge around your campsite with picnic table and chairs.
Look forward to WiFi, hot shower, insulated tent pads, and extra blankets, plus loaner bikes to get to town. And popcorn!
TerraSol is right ON the Arizona Trail (Patagonia alternate route), the Sky Islands Odyssey bikepacking loops, and several inspiring gravel biking day routes. Several nearby hiking/walking trails draw birders from around the world.
There's plenty to enjoy in Patagonia itself, too. Grab a hearty breakfast, explore unique shops, and learn about our history at our historic schoolhouse museum. Dinner, drinks and live music are all evening possibilities.
Happy planning for your Patagonia adventure. Hope to see you at TerraSol!
Look for bamboo fence and purple adobe house with metal roof, just west of RV park.
Stayed here for the Spirit World bike race. Mary was awesome. Her place brought in the coolest people and she had extra blankets, towels, drinks, etc. Loved staying here!
WOW! What a gem of a spot. This was my basecamp for exploring some of the gravel around Patagonia. The place is ideally located and had way more amenities than I expected for the price. There is a shower, laundry, food/drink (for purchase), a kitchen, fridge, chairs and even a well thought out insulated pad for under your tent! I loved my stay here.
Staying at Terrasol was an absolute delight! The lovely community and thoughtful layout made this a perfect home base for my trail adventures. Mary is such a welcoming and generous host. I especially loved the outdoor kitchen and sun porch. Thank you!
Mary is a lovely host and is super cool! If you are looking for less of a busy family RV park vibe and more of a community vibe this is the place. There’s an outdoor kitchen, multiple charging stations, communal fire pits, hot shower located in the sun room, laundry buckets and clotheslines as well as loaner bikes to ride to town. This has the feel of a European hostel but with camping. There’s room for 25’ RVs or less as well as nice flat tent sites catering to through hikers/bikers on the Arizona Trail.
We stayed here with our Supertramp Pop Up Camper while visiting Patagonia to do some cycling. Mary was really nice and gave us great information about what to do in Patagonia and various bicycle routes. It was really nice to have a shower and restroom available as well as many resources. The location is great. Close to cycling and to town.
