Best place to visit and live south of Tucson. Beautiful weather year round with lots of scenic areas for joggers and nature lovers. Deer and other wild life roam free year round. It's always out front!

Lots of history. Really nice clean base. Lots of places to explore. Their are a lot of wild animals that are really cool too. Deer, turkeys, javelina, you can almost count of seeing something at least once a week. The views are beautiful and just taking a drive through is an experience. I recommend reading about the base before going so you know what you're looking at and the history of the buildings. It's really pretty cool.

Lovely place. On post and in Sierra vista there is not traffic at all. Quiet place. Always a great view. Lovely sunsets. Close to great vineyards and an hour and a half away from the city of Tucson. The summer season is not as bad as Phoenix. Always 10 degrees or less than Phoenix. Lovely monsoon season and beautiful cold weather. Definitely will go back again. God bless America!

I was an executive chef at the Officers Club in the mid 70s. I loved the base.
