Beautiful spot. Hiked up Basin trail, lots of green and wonderful diversity of plant life.
I was actually not aware this waterfall had a name until Google asked me to review it! My friend from Montana camped here and brought me up to see it. So, when my Colorado friends visited, I took them there as well. I visited twice in March and April and it wasn't packed. Would highly recommend as a great cooling down spot as the temperatures warm up. There was no entrance fee and the camping there is dispersed/boondocking. Note that the park bans vehicles 41+ feet from driving in that far.
Great vool spot for a little picnic and even get wet and cool off a little. Even in june the creek is flowing enough for the falls to be nice.
Small fish in the pools are fun to watch too.
