Called around 4 am to get a room after driving on the 80 for hours, no answer after calling 3 times. Get there and the office is connected to a gas station which is empty with a sign that says open 6 am to 11 pm for a room call this number. My boyfriend calls the number and this guy who speaks very poor English answers and says it's $60 a night and just hangs up. I call and all I could understand is that yes they have rooms but he has no employee available so no room for us. We wait until 6 am (trying to sleep in the car) and low and behold 6 am comes around still no one around and now they won't answer that phone either. 😒 Aweful service don't even bother.

Only stayed here on recommendation from an outfitter, never will again. Checked in night early, beds are hard as rocks, room was dirty, shower was not clean, bathroom fan made terrible noise & it came on with the light so we used cell phone lights so we didn't have to use noisy fan, smoke detector started making loud noises around 10:30 pm. Moved to another room for remaining stay. Beds still hard but with some give, room slightly cleaner (still dirty in corners), thermostat on heater broken (ran all night long no matter what temp was set on). 1st night heard train go through 5 times, definitely not the slightest bit quiet. Save your money, even with discount through hunting outfit not worth it! Ogallala is only few more miles away with cleaner/quieter places, closer to where we were hunting anyway, but "guide" never metioned it. Found this out bc we moved to Ogallala our last 2 nights to get rest before our long drive back

The room had an odd smell to it and the other room we got was missing part of the door latch. The beds were very firm, but sleep wise, we all slept pretty well.

I didn't go up to the desk, but they charged our cards wrong and they said their was no way they could change it.... Seemed odd to me.

Overall, it was just okay....

No battery in smoke detector, access panel over tub poorly done. Dead fly on wall, asphalt like gravel on sheets, ice machine jammed, breakfast choices poor & know where to sit to eat. Muffins for breakfast small, old, dry & bad taste. Office in gas station, storage of mattresses in old wash bay & exposed to elements. Quiet motel is only good thing to say. Wouldn't stay again.

The room was disgustingly filthy 🤮, especially the bathroom. Stayed because no other hotels for 30 min each way & I was out of time. Definitely not returning. This is just laziness & lack of cleaning. Wash some walls please. There's buggers, blood(?), dust bunnies, ect. That shower needs SCRUBBED with some comet/Ajax/bleach!!!!!
