Best camp/guide service around! Linette, JR and Melanie are fantastic hosts and go above and beyond.

Beds were cozy and cabin was large enough for 4 people(2couples) to easily share. Very clean! Walking distance to easy bank fishing on the Kasilof river. Charter trips on river and halibut were both fantastic! We went on river trips with both guides, Justin and Jagger, and they are really awesome and help out with everything and the on-site processing and freezing was well worth it.

Stayed four nights last week- we rented two cabins for for 5 guys. This is a fishing destination with a rustic atmosphere. I will be back for sure- the price is a bargain compared to other options in the area. What made it great was the use of the fish cleaning station, use of the freezer, use of the fridge, proximity to the two rivers in the area and an understanding host who worked with us and gave us a late check. Confused reading a few of the other negative reviews ... I assume if your looking for a pampered plush lodge with fine china this is not it- if your looking for a clean place to stay and fish you found a good one here. Third year in a row using their guide service- Jagger puts you on fish! Hope to be back next year.

Five stars!

The company goal was to provide us with the trip of a lifetime. Goal accomplished! Our group of six booked the “Ultimate Getaway” package. From the time we arrived everything ran smoothly and efficiently. Hats off to JR, Melanie and Linette. You are treated like family, meals were wonderful, comfy accommodations. Very clean fishing gear, great people. Our guides Jagger and Justin were knowledgeable and helpful.

Halibut fishing in Homer is not to be missed.

Thank you Captain Kevin. Very fun, very exciting, can’t wait to do it again! Lots of yummy fish to bring home too! Thank you all so much for the amazing vacation of a lifetime. Great, just great!

We had talked about going to Alaska for the past 30-40 years. We met the Crooked Creek staff at the Sportsman show and booked our 7-day, guided Fishing Trip. We were not disappointed. Very enjoyable! The guides were very knowledgeable and helpful, the accommodations were wonderful, the staff was terrific, and the scenery was breathtaking. What a great experience!

Folks, if you have been thinking about a fishing trip like this, book it now! Do not keep putting it off like we did.

Absolutely amazing experience! Melanie, JR, Lynette, and the gang make you feel just like family. They’re incredibly welcoming and so much fun! The cabins were very clean and super comfortable. We fished for sockeye and halibut during our visit. They guides were great; they did what it took to make sure we had fun and bagged our limit each trip out. This was our first trip to Alaska and we can’t wait to go back! Thank you Crooked Creek!
