We are a small friendly campground with large wooded sites.
From jct US-7 & Hwy-73: Go 3 mi N on US-7.
Mostly level sites with lots of space between sites. Only concern was the 30amp connector was upside down, but it worked. Also, we didn't like being charged extra to dump our trash. We took it to the next stop where it was free, as usual. We stayed 2 nights.
Nice, small, campground. Sites are very well spaced. I was in a tent and had a nice large area to myself. Very well kept. I was Right Infront of the bathhouse, which I thought wouldn't be pleasant, but I had a nice little wooded area between the bathhouse and my site. The owners were very kind.
Only complaint was the bathouse was a outdated, but all of the pros out wayed that.
I liked how spacious our site was and the campground in general. It was a little disappointing that quiet hours are generally ignored as we had campers next to us party until midnight on a Thursday. Grounds and facilities need updating as well.
The campground is good. Nice spaces. The new owners are friendly and will be making some improvements in the future. It's quiet even though it's reasonably close to route 7. It sits down in a small valley which helps reduce road noise. The grounds were well kept.
We stayed here in early May so the temps were comfortable. If we had stayed in warmer weather when daily temps were above 85° the 30 amp services probably wouldn't have provided enough power to keep our 38 ft motorhome as cool as we prefer which is a personal preference.
The sites also do not provide sewer but site 28 was very close to the dump station and wasn't a big issue for disposing of our waste waters.
We didn't use any other services like bathhouse or restrooms so I haven't any input to share.
Overall it's a decent campground for the price and would probably stay here again if needed.
Mark and Chris (owners of the campground) gracefully took us in same day, although we arrived at the campsite later than expected. They are one of the friendliest and sweetest hosts we’ve met. They met us feel very welcome and at ease. Communication is prompt and perfect.
The campsite is very well maintained and the restrooms are also clean. I did not encounter any roaches in the restroom. Other people staying at the campsite were quiet. Upon request, we camped at the site that had a faucet, which was convenient for us. I felt safe walking to the restroom/bathhouse late at night. Oh, and they sell snacks and drinks at their office!
Thank you Mark (for your military service!) and Chris for making our stay in Vermont, very pleasant! Much blessings to you both! ❤️
Note for campers: If your bring your puppers, make sure you bring a Rabies certificate or vaccine record. They accept the certificate in PDF form too!
