It’s beautiful but remote! Free. The road was easily done in Transit van. Arrived prior to sunset mid-Oct and were the only campers. There is one vault toilet and about a dozen fairly level sites All sites very close to water. Fire pits and tables. Many trees so there would be shade periodically through the day. Small launch ramp. According to All Trails there are about a half dozen hiking trials nearby.

Went to check it out for future camping. Beautiful place! Campground was partially flooded but still has lots of potential!

Windy in the afternoon. HOT! Road narrows on a strap portion, just be mindful. Got to see a pod of river otters, just short of the campground.

Camp sites are spaced out well and sleeping next to the river is beautiful. Camped in 60/30 weather and didn't get too cold cause of the elevation. Getting here is about a 15 min drive on rocky back roads once you enter the recreation area. No four wheel drive needed. but the views are great along the way. Will be coming back if travels allow it!

A great place to fish on the Gunny! Nice and secluded! Abundant trout. I recommend good tires and a little ground clearance before heading down the road.
