Love this place, we take cotton landing and do a 10 min paddle trip to the actual spring, always so damn beautiful
Sadly, my little Backwoods Landing has been found! A really nice canoe and kayak launch, with good, free, campsites. Pavilion, fire ring, and next to the creek.
All the parking gets taken up during busy times (i.e. weekends). It is a small launch, only the width of a sidewalk. No real ramp, drops off pretty quick. Local rental outfitters basically takeover the launch as if they own it. Has bathrooms and picnic area. Best to visit in cold months.
Great spot and easy access to launch your kayaks and access cypress spring a short distance away by boat
Simple basic kayak, canoe, paddleboard launch site for Homes Creek. The parking is limited so get there early or plan on waiting, until a spot opens up. Please make sure to parks close to the next vehicle so that everyone has room. There are 3 basic campsite available to use as well. This landing is the closest to "The Creek" a popular place to swim and enjoy family time. Adult beverages are forbidden at Cotton Landing, but are consumes while paddling. PLEASE TAKE ALL OF YOUR TRASH with you. Help keep this special place special.
