Great views of the city and mountains. Many trails for hiking and biking. Exposed so wear sun sunscreen or long sleeve. Rattlesnake area so keep dogs leashed and be aware.

Lots of mountain bike traffic. Very pretty this year with all the rain we've been having.

An easy mountain to summit with nice views throughout! No trees on the trail which is great for getting sun on a cold day but could get toasty in the summer. Views of downtown denver, cacti, mountains, and maybe a rattlesnake if you are lucky.

You can also mountain bike throughout the park. For mountain biking, it is easy terrain but a steep, strenuous ride that will definitely give you a workout. There were sections of mud and ice on each trail I explored in early December (20% of the trails). I would assume that there is mud and ice throughout most of the winter. It was still very rideable on a Mountain Bike and hikers didn't seem to mind it. I would recommend bringing some spikes just in case.

There are multiple parking options around the park boundaries and if full, there is also Street parking available in certain spots.

I will definitely be going back to mountain bike and would highly recommend it to anybody who doesn't mind a little mud and ice.

Great little hike. Watching the bike riders was crazy! The paths are confusing if you’re trying to plan a distance. Give yourself a couple hours and enjoy the views on the way up, the top, and the way down!
