It’s worth the hike! Keep going until you think you can’t go anymore and you are almost 1/2way there. Along the way there are countless beautiful waterfalls and streams. Look for the fat chipmunks and animals everywhere. The flowers are amazing in the spring and summer. Take a hike around all sides of the fall and go to the top if you can. The views over the mountains are incredible! Bring water and snacks as the adventure could take a few hours+. It’s also a good idea to bring a light jacket and a poncho even in the summer as the temperature falls fast and it can rain at any moment. Closed toed shoes are a must and hiking boots are recommended.

Beautiful place to hike. Great scenery. Lots of smalls falls to see on the way to the Ouzel Falls. The trail is 90% dry and fairly easy to travel on. If you're planning to go all the way to the Ouzel Falls prepare for an all day journey.

This is a very nice hike. It is 5.8 miles round trip. Expect to go uphill. I don't recommend that you bring small children. It Is hard for them. Make sure to bring water and to enjoy the hike.

Beautiful hike with several picturesque sites. Keep in mind it is all uphill to Ouzel Falls and then all downhill back. Took 5 hours to complete the trail ( 5.4 miles total)and had to stop several times to rest. Calypso Cascades were my favorite spot which is about .9miles before reaching Ouzel Falls. The newly constructed bridges were fantastic to stand over the falls and feel the mist. Saw baby elk on the way back!

Ouzel falls is a beautiful hike that takes you past a couple of different waterfalls and follows along a beautiful river with the most peaceful, relaxing sounds the entire way. For the most part, this was an easy hike with only a couple of short areas I would call moderate level difficulty. But each of the water features and waterfalls makes your effort well worth it. Beautiful all the way there and back.
