Magical location! My husband and I had our Handfasting Ceremony on this beautiful mountain.
Beautiful campsites near Rabbit Ears hiking trail. Nice little lake for kayaking.
Nice place, excellent trail access, fishing, clean bathrooms and it wasn't very busy the first week of Oct.
Who can complain at $12 a night? The campsites are spread out nicely, the views are magnificent, and it's right by the trailhead to rabbit ears.
However, it is June with a lot of standing water so bring bug spray!
The water pumps are not working yet as of June 30, so be prepared.
