This was one of the best KOAs that we have ever visited. The sights are spacious, grounds are well kept with gorgeous landscaping and the staff members were very friendly! We experienced a minor power outage and the owner came by to check on us before we realized the power was out! He made sure the issue was resolved very quickly. They also installed a brand new jump pillow during our visit which the kids loved in addition to many other amenities.
My wife and I stayed at this campground as we explored the kayaking along the Paw Paw River. A very short drive from the interstate, this KOA campground had plenty to offer. Hands down the service level was at the top. Every one we interacted with and saw working was kind, polite and did their tasks quickly - from garage pickup, site clean up and deliveries to your site.
Like others have mentioned, the KOA has cabins and full size tents along with the large number of RV and tent camping sites. They really have a place for everyone.
One of the amenities worth mentioning that my wife and I enjoyed was the nature trail. If you like hiking, it was an unexpected treat to have this length and type of trail right within the campground. It wasn’t a difficult trail, but one with some great hills in the woods.
It’s super close to the Paw Paw River and several drop in and pick up points.
I would recommend this KOA and would camp here again if in the area.
We camped, so the rooms were our own! One of the best campgrounds we've ever experienced! Lots of amenities, terrific staff, very well kept-up. Sites can be a little close, but everyone was so quiet, that it wasn't too bad. We appreciate the quietness VERY MUCH!
We have stayed here 5 times in last 2 years and our stays have always been wonderful. We bring our own room, but the campground is always well maintained and clean. Bathrooms are clean and showers have hot water. We love the store and the Cafe, especially the pizza and donuts and latte. In fact even my Rottie is very chill when camping with us. He especially enjoyed the nature trails (haha).
Just returned from our stay at KOA. Our group booked the 4 deluxe cabins and they were absolutely perfect. This campground is small and cozy. Literally has everything you could need or want. Our kids did every activity offered (including sand art and the bike rentals). The Staff were friendly and hard working.
Campground is clean and well maintained.
The pizza and coffee available are also great and everything can be delivered to your site.
Cannot say enough good things about this KOA. Go! You won't be disappointed!
