Along the shores of Clay Lake in the southern part of the Ocala National Forest, this primitive camp at the edge of the Alexander Springs Wilderness provides a base for hunters during general gun season.
Directions
From the junction of SR 44 and CR 42 west of the St. Johns River west of Deland, follow CR 42 west past River Forest. Continue five miles. Turn right on Deer Haven Road and continue 0.7 mile to the camp.
