Wendy Oaks is a peaceful, relaxing RV park which has a beautiful 7- acre lake for our guests to enjoy. It is stocked with bass, bream and catfish. Beautiful trees line our spots for plenty of shade. South of us less than a mile is Star, MS. Home of country superstar Faith Hill. North of us are several produce stands, flea markets, antique shops and other shopping around 10 miles north. If you love boating, North Jackson offers the Ross Barnett Reservoir and south in Simpson County you can relax and have plenty of fun on Simpson Lake. D'Lo offers a large park with canoe rentals. Rainy arrival late in the afternoon. Had a couple of older parents with me. Just staying for one night. They have a live band every Saturday night and our site was a long walk from the restaurant area. Asked about a shuttle but they only offered renting a golf cart for the night. We went ahead and set up camp and then a knock on the door. Janet, who is on staff, said to give her a call and she would come and pick us up whenever we needed her. Made for a perfect night for the seniors that were with me. Definitely would stay there again. They are doubling the number of sites shortly.
