This place is in a beautiful location at the back of Challis where there isn’t much traffic. That is the only good thing about this place. I gave 2 stars because of the location. Now for the bad... the spots are not level at all. We had to be in a 50 amp spot (15 to be exact) and they seem to be the worst. There is no grass for most spots. No picnic tables. No trees for shade. The spots are so close together that you can’t put your awning out too far or you’ll hit the camper to your right and you have to be careful when sliding out your slide so you don’t hit the camper to your lefts awning. Also, when making our reservations we were very careful to select a campground/rv park that didn’t have their showers and bathrooms closed due to COVID. We would have liked to use the showers here because we have 5 people with us (3 kids and 2 adults). When making our reservations the confirmation email that we got gave us a shower code to get into the shower house. When we got here they had a sign on the shower house saying that it was closed. So if you’re thinking of camping here any time soon, be aware that their showers are NOT open, since they won’t warn you when making your reservations.

We have stayed here for the past 6 years for the Braun Brothers reunion in early August. We always stay at least a week each year. The RV park is very clean, all hook ups available. 30/50 amp. Very nice and clean shower/laundry house. It is right next to the golf course. The views are very picturesque. There is a paved trail around the perimeter of the golf course great for a morning run or walk. There is a camp host on site. There are large sites for big rigs and big 5th wheels. We fit in easily with our 45ft coach with toad. Few trees. Some sites have grass but most gravel. If you like the outdoors you can keep busy in the area for a long time.

The rv park is located in the foothills with a beautiful view and walking distance from the golf course. This rv park has full hookups including the ability to dump at your site. There is a shower house with 4 bathrooms that include showers as well as 2 washers and 2 dryers (coin operated). The shower house is clean and the camp host is friendly.

Was an awesome place to stay in challis it was quiet and clean. Lots of deer to see and nice bathrooms. Even though I wish the water was a little warmer. Would definitely stay here again.
