This place was great! Nobody was at the campground so we got to pick our spot even though I messaged the owner a week before to reserve it. Sabrina the owner was so friendly & was great talking with her about what they've done & plans in the future for the campground! Mije the Camp Host was great too! Definitely will be back with friends & bring our side by sides again!

Absolutely, hands down, the most hospitable and friendly camp host we’ve ever had! The pricing was good, the campgrounds were clean, the helpfulness we received just looking at the campsites and getting an extra hand into town when we couldn’t use our own vehicle was just phenomenal. Sabrina was so friendly and we loved having her as our camp hand for anything we needed! Will definitely be back for many future trips!

As always Sabrina was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Campground and corrals are clean when arriving. Water is close to the corrals. Nice picnic tables, open arena and 2 nice big sandy corrals to let your horses roll or get worked in. One horse next to us got her halter freakishly cought on the water spigot. She had to cut the halter off. Another fun time for the St. Jude's ride.

A great place to camp in Idaho City! Buddy & I rolled into town on motorcycles, and all the motels were full. This is a really nice horse camp, but since there were no horses there at the time, they let us camp in one of the horse campsites. The campsites are very beautiful, clean, and quiet. Bathrooms were port-a-potties, but probably nicest and cleanest one I've ever used. You can walk to town for meals easy enough.

Great option if you want to camp near Idaho City and be able to walk to town for dinner or breakfast (or both). We called Sabrina and arranged a spot because we were arriving after business hours. Lots of room in the up-top spots. Super easy to find a comfy spot for the tents and we had a nice fire going by sunset (lots of scrap wood around). Only portable toilets at the moment, but they were new and VERY clean. The highway quiets down around 9 and we got a great night of sleep. Nice, clean, family oriented campground. Plenty of good water available to all sites.
