Yeah you don't want to go there it's just a waste of time
Not a good place to kayak. The mud was knee high at points and the water was littered with used tampons and pads, amongst other garbage. I loved this place as a kid, but it just wasn't that great.
We were there on Sunday and there were only 2 couples and one person. We fished near the boat ramp and caught some rainbows. Later in the day we floated on the lake with our inner tubes. It was very relaxing day. There are couple tables for day use with firepit and BBQ. Since there is no trash pickup service make sure to pack up everything on the way out.
