There are some great places to hike. Great views of wildlife and Lake Lowell. The visitor center is open again. There is parks with a 9 hole disc golf course, picnic tables, swimming and boat launching. Trees providing shade and plenty of fishing opportunities.

I absolutely loved my time at this beautiful place. All I wanted to see was a Bald Eagle and the most Handsome park Ranger came out from his office and told us exactly where to go and there they were so thrilling for me.. Thank you..

Such a fun place to explore, lots of hiking too. All of it is kid and dog friendly except dofs cant go inside the refuge center unless it's a service dog. Myself, my husband, and kids had a great time exploring. I learned a lot while we were inside the refuge center. It's free to enter and open by volunteers.

They are always so friendly here. The trails are well kept and they offer great events and services to the community. I was the first one on the trails after a snow dusting and it was beautiful.
