The history lesson you get at the stop is definitely well worth it and the cleanliness of the bathrooms and shaded picnic areas are also a good reason to stop.
There isn't much to see in this area. Sagebrush, lava and lava mounds. It's beautiful in its own way. Very interesting place to visit with Atomic City and INL in the area.
