We are a travel nurse family who stayed at this park for 13 weeks while on assignment. This is not our first KOA to stay at, but it was by far our favorite. It’s in a safe and secluded part of Carlsbad and makes it easy to drive into Carlsbad or Artesia. My four kids loved the playground and the community center where they had toys, ping pong, and televisions with recliners. The staff at this KOA was what made all the difference though. They were so friendly and helpful with our family. I wish every campsite had staff as friendly as them. If ever in this area again, I would love to stay here again!

Friendly staff. Our only concern was the bathrooms. When showering in men's, the stall would flood. We physically pulled a huge hair ball out of stall drain and let staff know. Women's bathroom needs a deep clean from top to bottom. Hair in every shower. Every toilet, shower stall, walls and floor are all dirty. Dirt buildup in corners. Bathrooms just truly need a good deep clean and kept up. Stayed 2 weeks ago for 2 days
