Going to Camp Layman is like getting back to our second home! My husband and I go there every year with our family, as soon as we see the sign to the camp we instantly feel at home again.
Shelly and Dan (owners) feel like they are our long distant relatives, they are the best part of the camp!
We have stayed in pretty much over half the 13 cabins and there is no place that we would rather go when we need a get away with family and friends or even alone. The cabins are beautiful and each unique in their own way.
The property is perfect for kids, adults, well behaved dogs and everything in between!
There is honestly no other place I would recommend more than here!
been going here for 6 or 7 years now and everyone is so nice and caring. I love the cabins and there are many sites nearby to go to have fun! (horseback riding, food, etc.)
We had an excellent stay here on a rainy weekend. Absolutely silent at night which we loved. We woke up to unexpected snow, and the hosts were extremely helpful in helping us determine what our options were to get back home given road closures, mud slides and so forth. Property is next to the river and train tracks, so extremely scenic.
Tons of fun. Lots of recreational stuff on hand. Owner was super kind and helpful. Make sure you love the people you are with because it's very close quarters. We had a great time and will go back again. Rates are very reasonable.
