TTC was amazing, my daughter had the wonderful opportunity to attend this camp with her soccer club over the summer and I tagged along as a chaperone. The facilities were amazing, beautifully maintained and the rooms were great. The morning runs and the yoga were a fantastic addition to the group training and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of fun ( non soccer fun) that the camp was able to fit into the trip. The girls got to swim, hike, visit a brand new fitness/training facility, the beach and also had plenty of free time at the dorms to bond with each other and just relax.
Another thing that I thought was really great was how organized everything was. There was a great very clear schedule telling us when to be where and when we showed up there was snacks for the girls, water, first aid on hand, the fields were set up etc. There was never a moment of scrambling to figure out what to do or when to do it. For the adults chaperoning it was like a real vacation. Leon and the rest of the TTC team really kept the girls on task and took care of everything. The girls even got to make smore's at a bonfire. The girls told me that they loved the camp, the mental skills part was challenging for them to get into (11 and 12 years old) but they did report to me that they felt in the long run it would help their game and their overall life because what they were learning they knew was valuable.
The girls really enjoyed the camp overall and Leon made a great impression on them, even making a bet to remember every single girls name by the last day ( which he did successfully) AWESOME CAMP!
My daughter and her soccer team attended the training camp this summer and absolutely loved it. Facilities and personnel were amazing, and she came back with so many fantastic stories and experiences. Highly recommend it for an individual or team building exercise, and altitude training.
Working at TTC was equally rewarding as it was fun. The staff had just as much fun as the campers did and it made for an all around exciting, challenging and memorable experience. Each staff member brings their own unique experience and expertise. Growing up playing soccer myself, I wish I had a camp like this one to attend! I would reccomend Leon and his staff to anyone looking to send their kids to an elite soccer camp and also to anyone looking to work for an amazing company!
This review is based on my daughter's experience at the overnight camp last summer. The location is perfect and the facility is well-taken care of. I felt like my daughter was in a safe environment. The staff were welcoming and professional. The training was excellent and my daughter's skills improved, but the days were long between the very early morning training and bedtime. As it is, "lights out" was past 9pm. If it was enforced and the kids had ample sleep, I think my daughter and her peers would have had a much better experience. The girls couldn't sleep because some girls stayed up laughing and talking. They didn't fall asleep until those girls settled down, then had to be up early for training.
Both of my daughters have attended a few different style camps run by Leon and his professional and knowledgeable staff. The girls are always excited to learn new mental and technical skills and come home feeling more confident in their overall abilities. Looking forward to the next camp! Thank you Leon and staff.
