From Hwy 49 at Sierra City: Drive 4 1/2 miles to Bassett's Station. Turn left on Gold Lake Hwy and drive 1/2 mile to Packer Lake Road. Turn left and drive 2 miles to Berger Campground.

the outhouse has been moved and increased in size since the last visit.
The trees, creek, and the star gazing made for a great camping trip here. Will go back!
This year we got campsite #5. Backs to the creek. Multiple places for tents. One of my fave campsites, especially if you have multiple people or families. Upgraded their vaulted restroom. Like a lot. It's still outdoors y'all, don't get too excited.
Good, quiet, secluded camp spot. There are a few spots that can support a travel trailer. No water in the park which is tough, especially since it's the same cost of other parks with water. Lacking signage or rules posted.
