This was a very convenient stop on our route north on Highway 101. It’s a small park with a pretty little pond with a bench, which was very restful. They did not have their bathrooms and showers open for use, as advertised. But it was a nice little stop
If I could give a zero, I would. I called about a family needing a place to live until their home was built, and just because this family doesn't understand English, she refused to even allow them to apply because the application is in English. And said it's not mandatory for English applications and that it's not her problem that they don't understand English. I then asked if I could have an interpreter there, and she said no. Wow, what a great woman 👏
So, my daughter and I are here at Sleepy Hollow RV Park, right outside the town of Willits, and I must say, I'm incredibly pleased. It's fall, chilly, the leaves are falling, and we're surrounded by trees... it's absolutely beautiful.
Granted, it's off of main 101, so it's to be expected that there will be traffic noise, as it runs from the southern tip of California to Washington, but it's not a problem for us. If you're into having every amenity, maybe it's not for everyone (it's not a resort, it's a hookup campground), as there aren't restrooms, laundry, very limited wifi (cell is spotty, but works) but if you're on hookups (which there are plenty), it's irrelevant.
Also, Cindy the owner, has been very friendly, accommodating, and transparent about what is/isn't available. All around, it's a beautiful campground, conveniently located, and surrounded by nature. We're very happy, and relaxed here.
