Pass Creek CG was pretty nice as far as remote CG's go. It has drinking water on tap, pick-nick table, steel fire ring with grill (would not eat off it), locking bear boxes for food stuff and easy access to boat launch for fishing, water skiing, ect. There was a beach area for swimming; dogs welcome. Extra plus was, restrooms did not stink and believe it or not no mosquitos, deer flies, or meat bees; go figure. Awesome was I caught a 20 inch rainbow trout and had an overall great time! Super nice lake!. Only complaint; was a rude camper, who parked in my spot making it difficult to I.D. my camp site on arrival. I will return to Jackson Meadows Reservoir.
Spent 9 days here, loved that there's no cell service for about 40 miles. It's great to disconnect! The area is beautiful, but difficult to get a spot. Don't plan to drop in on a weekend, even tough during the week, camp was full most of the week. Tent campers and small trailers only. Tough to get big rigs in and most sites would not allow slides to pop out. Small kayak and fishing lake are close, it's nice and quiet.
Beautiful Camping Spot! Fresh air, clean, and full of adventurous fun!
Cancelled my reservation at the last minute due to "winter damage" and left us with no other options. Unapologetic and rude. We had 6 camp spots, no way to find a new place in that time. We came to see any way and there was no reason to cancel, all of our spots were clear with only some pine needles begging to be swept.
Lauren the camp host is amazing. The site had the water turned off this late in the season
