You probably could get a less noisy spot camping at the swap meet. Blue Jay camp was closed for renovations, so got the last spot at this camp. It’s next to a noisy highway, lots of campers blasting their music, kids riding around and dogs barking. Not a ranger in sight to tell people to be respectful of their neighbors. The positive was you could see the stars and it was cheap.
Beware: someone stole my camp chair while I was in town for the day. Don't leave anything that a person can easily walk off with.
Other than that, a good basic campground. Would be quite crowded if full (sites are very close) but there was almost no one here on a late Nov. weekend. Passable pit toilets.
Keep an eye out for poison oak!

Made me feel so proud to come and tidy it up a bit so people can enjoy a nice picnic, some nice quiet reading time, or maybe just some Peace and quiet Check out all those plack's on the wall. So many Folks have passed away doing what they loved. This is something I love doing too. Beautifying our forest lands and protecting them. Help us by keeping it clean, use the potties available to the public, I noticed so much Toilet paper outside of them. Its Our responsibility as American Citizens to keep our Public lands clean of litter. Hope you enjoy.
