Bolsa Chica State Beach is located in Huntington Beach, California and extends three miles from Sunset Beach to Seapoint Avenue along Pacific Coast Highway.
Really nice beach parking is $15 the sunset is gorgeous and the fire pits were perfect. I will say I thought the vehicle informing us the beach was closed was a little aggressive I've never been threatened to have my car get a violation for still being in the lot but I guess they really don't want you there even a moment after 10pm
Plenty of parking. Good restrooms. Normally good in the morning, but windy in the afternoon.
Very nice and clean bathrooms. It’s our first time here. Bonfire night was the best, we all had a blast. Worth it a friend line up for us at 5am (Yes, she said 3am during summer the line starts already) and got us saved the fire pit. We were there until 9:50pm😅 Everyone was rushing out before we get ticket😬 Till next time again.
Bolsa Chica State Park is decent. Basically an extension of Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve with PCH in between. Offshore oil platforms and container ships are easily visible from the beach. Nicest in the early morning, although sunsets can be pretty spectacular too.
Quiet afternoon to ride my bike in this state beach. No complain, easy, clean and not too much people on the path at the time I was there.
