The beach is on Del Obispo/Dana Harbor Drive, approximately one mile north of I-5 and about three miles from San Juan Capistrano Mission.
What a beautiful beach. The waves here are nice and small so perfect for long boarding. They have public bathrooms and a lifeguard. I am not sure if the lifeguards are on duty year round though. Lots of parking.
We love going to this beach, waking in the sand and water. It’s a nice place to hang out or camp if that’s your thing. We usually stay at the resort just east of the PCH and walk across the foot bridge to get here.
Nice ambience. Though the train was noisy, camping here was worth it, I'd say
