Was seeking a tent site near Julian to catch the meteor shower. WHAT A TREAT trying this place out. Was the only tent camper this weekend. The bathroom was air conditioned, always smelt good, and clean each day. There is various structures and metal-art work throughout. All gravel and packed sand, not many trees for cover. Thoroughly enjoyed this place and will be back for more exploring .
Very nice park.. all of the amenities were incredibly well taken care of. This place should be 100% booked at all times but we were one of maybe only 10 people at the whole place. The staff at the front was super friendly and helpful also.
Restroom were very, very clean! Showers was nice after hitting the desert trail. Staff was friendly and very helpful! We camped here with a large off roading group and had plenty of space with only 4 camp spots.
This is a hidden treasure. They have a grand recreational area that you can rent out and have huge events. Indoor tennis courts, basketball area and other activities you can play. The facilities are clean and bathrooms are conveniently close. Full connections and they even have stagecoach rooms you can rent out. I’m surprised the occupancy here is very low. I went on a holiday and it was about 20% full. I loved it.

It is a hidden gem..stayed in a cabin here , weekend of August 12-13 to watch Perseids meteor shower..minimal light pollution, milky way visible a few hrs after sunset and we spotted over 50 meteors. The cabin was super cute, minimal w just 4 beds but we did not need anything more for a weekend. Clean campgrounds. Spotless toilets. Ample picnic tables w grilling spots. Nice indoor tennis/ pickleball court w pickleball rackets accessories. The level of service extended by the manager is unmatched! I have never seen someone go over n beyond as much as he did. I would give 10 stars for their service if I could.
