This place used to be my Uncle Marvin Morris's ranch from 1956 to 1975. It was called Los Prietos. I'm 15 in the photo taken 60 years ago.

The girls are Carol Morris, my cousin, and her best friend, Leslie Stewart.

Terrible. Tons of irritating flies which only go away in the morning when it gets too hot and in the evening when the mosquitos come out. Very little shade. No showers at all. No wifi. Poorly maintained group area overgrown by nasty puckerbrush.

Nice trail, easy to walk. Did saw 2 large rattle snakes half the distance and desided not to cross their path and walked back. But it was nice and one day I will try to finish the whole round trip
