About Campground

Purchased in 2006 , Cuyama Oaks Ranch is 82 acres with majestic 360 degree mountain views and vast canyons for hiking and trail access all over the valley. Near many trail heads and outdoor activities, promises a high desert getaway. During the spring and summer months, the smell of wildflowers fill the air. Nestled in the shadow of the Los Padres Mountains and located deep within the hidden valley of enchantment, this ranch gives the visitor the high-desert experience of their dreams. We pride ourselves on our safe space for LGBTQIA people, but all are welcome. For the hikers and explorers out there, the ranch offers trails on the property and advice on local trail heads within 10 miles. The ranch is completely private and secluded, off HWY 166.

Nate has done an impeccable job of creating an oasis here. I wish I had stayed more than one night and gotten lost in this beautiful place they have here. The yurt, the outdoor kitchen, the outhouse, all of it was absolutely stunning. They have every little detail thought of and are adding on to the experience often. I cannot recommend this beautiful place enough!

Stay here! We absolutely loved our stay, 🤩the ranch is gorgeous, the sunsets are unreal, and the hosts have done such an amazing job creating a warm and thoughtful space. Every detail is taken care of in the yurts, and they take glamping to another level. The animals are insanely cute, (go pet the goats) and the whole place just has such a good vibe.

Book your stay, you’ll be happy you did.

I LOVED my stay here! We stayed in one of the yurts and it was a fantastic glamping experience. Highlights included baby goats, baby birds, incredible views, and the most wonderful (and handsome!) hosts. 100% recommend and I will be back.

This ranch is so charming and beautiful. The yurts are carefully designed with comfort and atmosphere in mind. The hosts have thought of everything down to the finest details! They had so many sweet personal touches that made our stay feel so special. The animals on the ranch are a hysterical little treat. It was so much fun to meet the goats and the pigs. We will absolutely be back next year!

Such a wonderful time Staying at Cuyama Oaks Ranch. Our site was well equipped and Nathan was super responsive in meeting us and bringing us down and getting us all settled in. The sunset on the land is stunning and it’s fun to take a stroll and see the animals. It was so peaceful, I can’t wait to come back and visit!
