I go to this lake at least once a week... whether I’m riding the 9 mile paved biking/hiking trail or fishing it’s a really great place to be. There’s a hunting preserve attached and a trail for horses alone. Good beaches on both sides... lots of wildlife and plenty of trees. Go.....

This place is amazing for the entire family and our pets. Has a play ground, beach, a lot of space for tables, grills, bikes, kayaks and boats. Enjoy the day with pets, but not on the sand. Bathrooms are clean and they have a dressing room too. You have to pay $10 per car.

Great time rock climbing here. All of us got parking tickets for not paying the $10 day pass. Machine was broken when entering. Had no service to pay on my phone. figured I would be fine and pay when I got home. Guess not.

Learning from last time, I’m going tomorrow and have now spent an hour trying to figure out how to give them my money. Only option to pay online I found was for annual passes.

Add a button to the site so I can give California more of my money. Or fix the machine.

Addition: There is an app you can use to pay for the day pay called Yodel. It’s actually very easy. I recommend taking a screen shot if your checked in confirmation. I got another ticket even after paying. Luckily it was easy to reverse since I had proof.

5 stars for great place, though. 😉

Very beautiful lake, I found a nice sandy area alone. A little cold in these winter months but perfect on a sunny day 🌞
