This is a great family run campground. We were seasonal campers in our new fifth wheel and had a wonderful season at Brook n Wood. The sites are larger than average and the upper loops are more than adequate to accommodate a big rig. The grounds are well maintained. The wi-fi worked so good that I was able to use it to work from the campground during the week which meant I didn't have to leave =). Close to Red-hook and Rhinebeck which are both great towns and the Dutchess County Fairgrounds.

Had a great time labor day weekend! Campground is spotless, quiet, full hook ups and the wifi was great. Ignore the negative reviews and give it a try. The staff was very helpful (thanks Julie) and from what we saw..the kids had plenty to do from mini golf to basketball and the pool as well as the ice cream socials. Observe the speed limit on the property! There are children playing and riding bikes..

The owners are very annoying!

They banned our kids from the park. They yell at the kids for dirt. They annoy you by the pool for bringing in a water bottle. The flies there are horrible. All in all annoying owners. They came running to us the entire time. We are travelers and have never experienced such annoying people.

This looks like a nice campground. But we we unable to look at the property because we were greeted by a very rude person claiming to be the owner. He was disrespectful and would not let us even talk. All we wanted to do was look. He told us to leave and we needed an appointment. As far as I am concerned I would not camp here and not recommend this place to anyone . The way we were treated was absolutely awful , he should be ashamed of himself
