Hunter Lake Campground is a quiet, peaceful, yet fun environment to camp with family and friends. Built on family values, our campground is perfect for anyone looking for a pristine atmosphere to enjoy all that nature has to offer.
The campground is situated on beautiful Hunter Lake in Parksville, New York, high in the western Catskill mountains (elevation 2,300 ft). We are located 2 1/2 hours from New York City and 1 1/2 hours from Binghamton.
My son and I stayed overnight as we were in town for a bike race. We tented in and forgot our towels. The host was exceptionally gracious in offering us two of her own towels from her home. The shower was clean and hot and those towels came in handy! Pretty setting.
Absolutely love this place!! My family and I have been coming here for 10 years! Large field for playing and relaxing, great for flying kites and drones. A dock for fishing and a beach for swimming with a floating dock.
Showers in the bathroom, and a recreation hall for even more entertainment.

This is a really beautiful setting, with a perfectly sandy beach, family friendly ambiance and super friendly people!
It’s so easy to relax and enjoy the lake here! The kids loved everything from the fishing, boating and swimming to the playground and game room. Everyone had a fantastic time and we can’t wait to go back!
This place has a certain magic to it for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. Superior staff, top notch cleanliness and endless serenity in the Catskill Mountains.
Nice quiet campground. Clean grounds and bath rooms. Nice beach and ropes off swim area. Lake is small but great to paddle around on. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
