Great camping! I went with my 2 kids 4&7 and my friends snd their kids. We all had a wonderful time. The river was perfect for small kids to play in. The place was quite and simple. The owner and other staff was very nice. And very kind to the kids showing them cool stuff. The playground was just 2 swings some toddler toys and 2 swings but it was in a big feild and the kids had so much fun. The bathroom were super clean! And as a bunch of women alone with our kids we all felt super safe.

The price is definitely worth it

But it is a simple place there's none of the activities and extras you find at other campgrounds. The pool could use a little tlc. But it got us all back to the basics. And being in a nature and enjoy time with one another. It was one of the best camping trips I have been on!

Just got back from tent camping here and I could not be happier. This place reminds me of camping as a kid.... has some amenities but not too many that you don't feel like you're camping. My kids loved playing in the swimming pool and walking in the river. The staff was very friendly and kind. I will be back!

I just camped here from 7/2-7/6/23 on site 41a with my soon to be wife. This place is a hidden gem. I had one of the most relaxing camping trips here. We started off our first full day with crazy storms but if you have the right equipment you’ll be fine. During these storms most of the other people camping left. This made for a truly private camping experience on a beautiful river. The scenery here makes for a picture perfect time.

For people looking to stay…the weather can change in an instant there so be prepared. One day we went from 60% humidity to 100% within a few minutes. Strong hard shelled water shoes is necessary to walk around the rivers edges. There is electric onsite(not all) but make sure you have something to store your electronics in with a seal and those humidity packets. I had a few things with connection problems because of the moisture.

Thank you again to the owners and we will be back real soon!

The location was 5 stars. The reason for my 1 star rating is because of the lack of enforcement of the campground rules.

First is dogs not leashed. This is unacceptable. I don’t care if your dog is trained or family, it’s a dog and it ain’t my family and I don’t know if it’s trained. I don’t want to be around campers who let their dogs roam free and even playing fetch with their dogs. If your dog comes around me, sue me if you want but I’m protecting myself and my family, whatever it takes from your unleashed dog.

Second is music. Sick of it. Music playing all hours of the night with no regard for quiet hours. I’m camping trying to enjoy the sounds of nature, the fire and the river. I don’t want to here techo, bongos and thumping of other people’s music. As I’m writing this review, its almost midnight and they are still playing loud music. I can tolerate during the day, I get it, but if you can’t respect other campers, and the site doesn’t patrol and enforce, I will not be back and I cannot recommend.

Update your Google website pricing or quit ripping people off. Goggle business info says kids under 17 are FREE. Says wood is $7 a bundle but when I asked for 2 was told it was $16. This is a business, pricing needs to be accurate on ALL your online advertising.

Unfortunate, because it’s a great location.

The camp ground seems to offer lots of options. We were tent camping with no electricity. The owner was very nice and accommodating when we called and needed a quick spot for the night. The restrooms were clean and the wash station was very convenient. The location was great if you wanted access to the Neversink River. Some spots were river side. The road through the campground is gravel and steep which could be difficult for smaller cars to drive back and forth to the river (or lower spots).
