No WiFi provided, 9pm curfew to drive in with your vehicle, you would have to park in the next parking lot and walk to your RV. It is not far, BUT, they do NOT spray for mosquitos and the second you are outside you are swarmed by these HUGE relentless mosquitos that pretty much eat you alive. Not a fun or pleasant experience. It is the ONLY campground in Nassau County so I feel like they bank on that.

Not a campground for elderly or handicap people. They are constantly harassing everyone about adhering to their ridiculous rules, like you must back your car/ truck into the site - no head in parking. They close and lock the entrance gate at 9PM and sometimes even earlier. Then you'd have to park about 1/2 mile away and walk back to your camper in the dark. Staff rides their golf carts thru your occupied site but prohibited you from doing ...so....the do as I say and not as I do policy. Beach is a far distance to walk from the RV sites. Overall, We won't be back!

Nickerson Beach Campground is a nice relaxing environment. The camp hosts were super friendly and helpful. They guide you to your site and make sure you back in with no issues. The campground is spotless and the staff is constantly around cleaning and taking care of the facilities. There is now a camp store with basic necessities and beach equipment. With the gate by the dunes open access to the beach is not too bad, but as someone else posted it would be nice have a separate beach access so we do not have to walk through the cabana area. Look forward to coming back here again !!

Campground itself was clean and quiet. The bathrooms were very clean, the staff was very helpful. Each site was large and we had plenty of room to spread out. I would give the fifth star if the campground had its own beach access, walking through the cabana area took a lot of extra time and was awkward. I also think use of the pool should be included in the site. My kids would have liked to swim in the pool and i thought paying an extra $50 a day on top of the price of the site was a little much. Other than that everything else was great and we are definitely planning on booking next summer.
