Do not stay in the cabins. Under the new management the cabins are filthy. There is also no one around to help you. We waited 4 hours to speak to the manager who looked like she was 12 and acted like a 5 year old. She was so rude. Thankfully we got our money back. Its a shame when Barry owned the place it was great.
Great place. Very well kept up. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Community activities and pool were amazing. I'd definitely come back to this place. Barry the owner was pleasant to deal and enforces strict speed limit rules, but it's for the safety of the children roaming the grounds, so I'm all for it. Definitely stop here.
I stayed at this place last year inside one of their cabins. I felt all the cabins were filthy and not well maintained. I would hear things crawling around in the middle of the night and my kids were terrified. I addressed to the management and apparently they believed I was making up the story because all they could say was that these cabins are inspected by the health department. When I asked when it was done it was way over a year ago. It is poorly managed facility and I would not go back. They are extremely nice when they take your money and if you have a concern it is a completely different experience. I feel this place has very poor customer service and overall I would not recommend this place to anyone I know.
Stayed for 5 nights in June. Nice, clean campground. Very well maintained. Good sized site. Gravel drive and plenty of grass. Water, electric and sewer worked great, no issues. Plenty to do. Great pool, small pond for fishing and kayaking. Beautiful, well stocked store. The owner was an absolute gentleman. It's pretty simple, campgrounds have rules to insure the enjoyment of all guests. Follow the rules and you won't have any issues. Keep your dog on a leash, helmets on your kids when they are riding bikes and mind the 5 mph speed limit and you'll have a great time.
It was going to be my families first time there however upon arrival found their hours reflected online are incorrect as they were closed when we arrived. There really is nothing you can do about that however while we were looking for another spot a lady whom I believe was the owner perhaps, got out of her red Jeep and was incredibly rude about being closed. Her entire demeanor was unnecessarily discourteous and insolent. I highly recommend Tri-State RV Park instead staff there is incredible and courteous.
