About Campground

Come relax and enjoy the views of the Columbia River and the North Cascades. Plenty of sunshine with epic sunsets, our property is where you come to unwind and soak in the sun when the east side of the Cascades is socked in with clouds and rain.

Our favorite activities when we visit is to listen to the birds chirp and take in the surroundings. There are several lava rock piles that speak to the long and volcanic geological history of the area. We also really enjoy walking the dirt road on the ridge. It provides some of the most incredible view in the area.

Directions

Google maps works well for finding the site, but sometimes it can direct you a way where there is no real road. In order to get Google Maps to take you the correct way, you must turn off McNeil Canyon Rd on to Spring Canyon Rd.

- Follow the road into a canyon. There are occasionally 2 dogs that like to follow you to the end of their property. Don't mind them.

- As you start to go up, you'll come to a gate with a chain. Remove the chain, open the gate, drive through and CLOSE THE GATE as you found it.

- Once you get to the top of the ridge, take the first right turn, heading down to the camp

- Drive all the way to the end of the road where there are 2 sets of chains. Turn right just before and that's our property. Feel free to park anywhere, but near the trees provide the clearest areas.

Awesome park! Excited to go back and hike but the little trails around the bottom area and the beach access is great! Tons of space and a beautiful view of the water from this panoramic view!

Great urban park to visit. Views of town and fire works, summer artesian well, and occasional winter snow park. Kiddos young and old love it!

This little neighborhood jewel is just that, a jewel. It’s historical significance is noted here and memorialized with this lovely little hillside park. The water flow from the well is rather small but then perhaps it has to do with the time of year, the middle of summer? Thanks to all the people that have made this little park so beautiful. And it does have quite a view oh Olympia.

Such a cute little neighborhood park! Also a lovely view of the water and downtown area. Good place to rest for a moment if you’re taking a walk.
