We stayed in September for the first time, then returned in October to see the fall colors. Beautiful park, well maintained. A family favorite for sure. See you next year!😊

Also nice hike up Northrup Canyon trail not far from camp.

Amazing location. The section we stayed in was like all brand new everything. Very clean, very large spots, amazing 360° views, and even caught some fish. Super nice flat, level spots, all brand new pavement.

My absolute favorite campsite to get away from the city and enjoy silence.

Great spots to fish, swim, kayak, cycle, hike, animal watch (turkey, deer, ducks), or sun bathe. Beautiful scenic views and dry climate.

Probably one of the best state park campgrounds we have stayed at. The sites were very well appointed, level and large. We were in site 112 which was a perfect location with unobstructed (Apart from a few trees) lake views. Whilst you are here, and if you are able bodied take a walk up Steamboat Rock. Wear good walking boots though as some parts are more climbing than walking!

The lake area was relatively shallow and went out a long way near our site, perfect for a morning swim.

Stayed at the cabin, it was very well maintained. In the winter the water is shut off, but electricity is available. There is a mini fridge, microwave and heater in the cabin. Cabin is big enough for 5 adults. Hot shower available at the restroom. Big windows throughout each side of the walls, amazing views!

Checkin time is 4pm, entry instruction should be an envelope in the black box next to front door. Checkout time is 11am, you are expected to sweep the floor and take out trash prior to checkout to avoid additional cleaning fees. Recommend and will return!
