Was a wonderful rv spot! Got to be right by the creek/river for the kids and dogs to play in! Host was wonderful. Close to so many awesome spots, including the down town area with amazing restaurants and shops. Kids loved tubing. Definitely will be returning here in the future.

Not my camper not me guess it belongs to someone else who put the picture up. Our spot was right on the creek, small park only RV's, very quiet and so peaceful. Beautiful scenery right from your camp. Brian is a nice guy. If you like your quiet time and plenty of space between your neighbors, this place is for you. Spots 27-31 are creekside.

We stayed in the cabin which was very comfortable and well-appointed. Enjoyed the large front porch with BBQ, table/chairs and benchs. Great place to sit, visit and relax. We played Cornhole right in front, off the porch. The back of the cabin had a firepit with chairs and nice view of the area. The creek is steps away and there are inner tubes for floating. Brian, Big Bear, was very friendly and helpful.

We look forward to a visit in the near future!

We enjoyed our stay at Big Bear RV! We rented the cabin and RV site #23 right next door to the cabin. Bryan was very helpful and attentive to our questions. He called the day of our arrival to let us know we might be arriving at the same time the Christmas parade was starting which helped us plan and maneuver an alternate route with our RV. When we arrived, Bryan met us at the cabin and walked us through explaining everything and even assisted as we backed in our RV. The cabin was nice and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was roomy enough when all 6 of us were in the cabin; however, the dining table only had seating for two, which was not that big of a deal for us. There was a fire pit behind the cabin and a large private front porch. The RV site was a nice, full-hookup site and included a fire ring and picnic table. Our camping side was facing the cabin which worked out perfectly for us. The location of the park was quiet and peaceful and my granddaughters enjoyed visiting the two horses in the field beside the campground. Big Bear is perfectly convenient to Bryson City, the Great Smokey Mountains SP and many other activities, including hiking, waterfalls, etc. I would highly recommend Big Bear RV if you are visiting the Bryson City area!

Fantastic campground!!!! Owner is super nice and helpful. The campground is very neat, clean, well taken care of and a lot of nice area for walking your pets. We brought our toy hauler and our motorcycles. We planned to stay 3 weeks but liked it so well we ended up staying a month The campsites are big and nicely graveled. Each site has a nice picnic table and fire pit. The owner might sell you some firewood. We didn’t get a site right on the river but every site in the campground is close and just a short walk to the water for fly fishing, tubing or just hanging out. You can rent tubes from the owner. We were About 5 min drive to/from Bryson City and about 10 min to/from National Forest and nice waterfall paths for hiking. We felt very centrally located for all of the awesome motorcycle rides, and all of the things we wanted to do around the area. Highly recommend this campground and we plan to be back next year and every summer thereafter!!!!
